Day 1: Explore the Scenic Guiyang City

Guiyang, the capital city of Guizhou Province, is where our 5-day tour begins. Starting your day early, you can head to Jiaxiu Tower, which is an ancient landmark that stands at the center of the city and offers stunning views of the surroundings. You can then visit the Hongfu Temple, one of the oldest temples in the city. In the afternoon, you can head to Qingyan Ancient Town, which is a historic town filled with Ming and Qing Dynasty architectural styles. You can explore the streets, local shops, and indulge in authentic local snacks.

Day 2: Discover the Beauty of Huangguoshu Waterfall

Today, you will be heading to Huangguoshu Waterfall, the largest waterfall in China and a must-visit destination for tourists. You can start off the day early and take a bus to Huangguoshu Scenic Spot where further buses will take you to the waterfall. Once there, you can hop on a boat and sail around the waterfall or watch the breath-taking waterfall from one of the many viewing platforms which surround the fall. The waterfall is particularly impressive during the rainy season, which is from May to October.

Day 3: Immerse Yourself in the Scenic Fanjing Mountain

On the third day, you can head to Fanjing Mountain National Nature Reserve, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most beautiful mountains in China. The mountain is believed to be the abode of Maitreya Buddha in Chinese Buddhism and is revered by many Buddhists. To explore the mountain and take in its beauty, you can hike the trails, and explore the park's two major peaks: Red Cloud Peak and White Cloud Peak. The view of the sunrise and sunset on top of the mountain is something you don't want to miss.

Day 4: Visit Miao Ethnic Villages

On the fourth day, you can visit Miao Ethnic Villages in Kaili City, where you will experience Miao traditional culture and lifestyle. You can visit Langde Miao Village, one of the most well-preserved Miao villages in Guizhou. You can witness Miao people's traditional costume, headgear and silver accessories and learn about their unique festivals and customs. You can also indulge in Miao-style food. Later, you can head to Xijiang Miao Village, known as the "Largest Miao Village in the World,” with over 1,000 households.

Day 5: Departure

On the last day of the tour, you can explore the local markets in Guiyang and buy some souvenirs to commemorate your trip. You can buy handicrafts, cultural artifacts, tea, and various spices and local dishes and take back home to your family and friends as a souvenir. You can also visit Guizhou Provincial Museum and learn about the history and culture of Guizhou Province. Afterward, you can head to the airport and take your flight back home as the trip comes to an end.
