Day 1: The Forbidden City

Day 4: Tiananmen Square

Be sure to visit the Tiananmen Gate, which serves as the entrance to the Forbidden City, as well as the Monument to the People's Heroes and the Mao Zedong Memorial Hall. Day 5: Summer Palace

One of the most impressive features of the Summer Palace is the Longevity Hill, which rises over 200 feet above the surrounding landscape.
